readwrite collects information in two broad categories: information you provide directly when registering or using the platform, and information we collect automatically as you interact with our services.
Information you provide directly includes:
- Full name and date of birth (required for account registration and age verification).
- Pakistani mobile number and email address (used for account access, communication, and verification).
- CNIC number or other government-issued identification, where required for identity verification or large withdrawal processing.
- Payment method details — such as your Easypaisa or JazzCash account number, bank account information for IBFT, or card details for Visa/Mastercard transactions.
- Correspondence and support interactions — including chat logs, emails, and any documents you submit to the readwrite support team.
- Responsible gaming preferences — including any deposit limits, session limits, or self-exclusion requests you make through your account settings.
Information collected automatically when you use readwrite includes:
- Device information — such as device type, operating system version, browser type, and screen resolution.
- IP address and approximate geographic location (city-level, not precise coordinates).

4 Who readwrite Shares Your Data With
readwrite does not sell your personal information to anyone. We share data only with the categories of recipients listed below, and only to the extent necessary to provide or protect the services.
- Payment processors: Your payment details are shared with the relevant payment provider — Easypaisa, JazzCash, NayaPay, SadaPay, IBFT processing banks, and Visa/Mastercard networks — solely to process your transactions.
- Identity verification providers: Where readwrite requires identity verification, your CNIC or other documents may be submitted to a third-party verification service. These providers are contractually bound to handle your data securely and not retain it beyond the verification process.
- Technology and hosting providers: readwrite uses cloud infrastructure and software services to operate the platform. These providers access data only as data processors acting on our instructions.
- Fraud and security services: Automated security tools may process IP addresses, device fingerprints, and behavioural signals to detect fraud and abuse. This data is processed in accordance with strict access controls.
- Legal and regulatory authorities: readwrite may be required to disclose information to law enforcement or regulatory bodies in response to lawful requests. readwrite will notify affected users where legally permitted to do so.
5 Payment Data Handling
readwrite takes payment data security particularly seriously. When you make a deposit or withdrawal using Easypaisa, JazzCash, or any other supported method, the actual transaction is processed by the respective payment provider through their own secure infrastructure. readwrite receives confirmation of a successful transaction — not your raw payment credentials.
For card payments via Visa or Mastercard, readwrite uses a PCI DSS-compliant payment gateway. Your full card number is never stored on readwrite's servers. Only a tokenised reference to your card is retained to facilitate future transactions from the same card. This token cannot be used to conduct transactions without the full card details, which are held by the payment gateway — not readwrite.
Important: readwrite will never ask for your full card number, CVV, mobile wallet PIN, or bank account password via email, phone call, or live chat. Any communication claiming to be from readwrite that asks for these details should be treated as fraudulent. Report it to our support team immediately.
6 Cookies & Tracking Technologies
readwrite uses cookies — small files stored in your browser — and similar technologies to make the platform work properly, remember your preferences, and understand how players interact with our services.
- Essential cookies: Required for the platform to function. These include session cookies that keep you logged in and security cookies that protect against cross-site request forgery. These cannot be disabled without breaking the platform.
- Functional cookies: Remember your preferences, such as language settings, preferred payment method, and notification settings. Disabling these may degrade your experience but won't prevent basic use.

7 How Long readwrite Keeps Your Data
readwrite retains personal data for as long as your account is active and for a reasonable period after account closure. Specific retention periods are determined by the purpose of the data and applicable legal requirements.
- Account registration data and identity documents are retained for a minimum of five years from the date of account closure, in line with standard financial services record-keeping practice.
- Transaction records are retained for a minimum of five years from the date of the transaction.
- Customer support correspondence is retained for three years from the date of the last interaction in each case.
- Gaming activity logs — bet history, game results, and session records — are retained for three years.
- Anonymised analytics data may be retained indefinitely as it cannot be linked back to any individual player.
When data reaches the end of its retention period and is no longer required for any legitimate purpose, readwrite deletes or anonymises it securely.

- Suspicious activity — such as unusual login attempts or access from new devices — triggers automated security alerts and, where appropriate, temporary account lockouts pending player verification.
- All staff with access to personal data receive training on data protection responsibilities and privacy best practices.
